Rootstock and Pactera Partnering to Bring Manufacturing Cloud ERP to China and Beyond

17/12/2013 by

Rootstock Software the leader in cloud manufacturing and supply chain applications, today announced that U.S. and other complex manufacturing companies with operations in

China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia will be able to leverage the success of Cloud ERP with the help of Pactera, a 22,000 employee global consulting and technologies firm with worldwide headquarters in China. For years Pactera has been

providing implementations of SAP and Oracle On-Premise ERP systems. These staffs will now be trained on Rootstock’s manufacturing Cloud ERP system to provide easy, fast and affordable implementations that will bring this region a more flexible alternative.

“An evaluation of the Rootstock Cloud ERP system was undertaken by our senior consultants in Beijing,” reports David Chen, president of Pactera. “They were very impressed with the functionality of Rootstock’s software and are excited about expanding the role of Cloud ERP throughout this region.”

“A company with multiple divisions and differing ERP systems cannot obtain the global deployment and integrations of systems that it needs to be competitive,” adds Pat Garrehy, president and CEO of Rootstock Software. “The cost/benefit analysis for a new Cloud based enterprise-wide system will often show significant economic advantages over maintaining multiple On Premise ERP versions and their required interfaces, conduits, and translators. Rootstock’s manufacturing Cloud ERP offers deep functionality and that is why it has been so successful with multi-division manufacturers.”
