City of Greenville, N.C., Chooses Tyler Technologies’ ERP Solution

Tyler Technologies, has signed a contract with the city of Greenville, N.C., for Tyler’s Munis enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. The agreement includes software licenses, training, related professional services and support.

Munis replaces Greenville’s 22-year-old financial system that lacks integrated functionality. The non-integrated approach has led to duplication of data and increasingly disparate databases that reduced reporting capabilities. To find a modern and integrated ERP software system, the city formed a search committee composed of employees from a variety of departments. The committee was charged with selecting a system whose integration would eliminate the need for redundant systems and data stores.

After evaluating several systems, the city chose multiple Munis applications, including financial management and human capital management. The city also will implement Tyler Content Manager, which is completely integrated with Munis.

“Tyler’s Munis is a robust and user-friendly system that will serve the city well. Munis offers the best value and is the best solution to meet the needs of the city now and into the future,” said Bernita Demery, director of financial services for the city of Greenville. “During our search for a new ERP solution we found a number of peer government organizations that have implemented Munis with favorable results. We also value that Tyler is a financially sound business partner with a track record of innovative product developments.”

Tech is for girls... and always has been!

2017-09-18 10:00:00 +0100

Today, it's hard to deny that the IT and tech industry is a male-dominated field.
