FESCO, SAP SIGN ACCORD TO IMPLEMENT ERP IN COMPANY

An agreement has been signed between Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) administration and SAP for the implementation of latest Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) plan. The implementation of the ERP will accelerate the performance of the different departments like Finance, Accounting, Procurement, Customer Care and Billing, and these departments would perform their duty in systematic manner.

Fesco Board of Directors (BoD) has already approved the implementation of ERP in the company. During his speech at signing ceremony, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said that implementation of ERP would be helpful for rapid process and save the time also and it would also be helpful for collection of bills. At international level ERP system was being used in thousands of the departments, he added.

He said the agreement would increase the efficiency of the company and staff. He also appreciated the efforts of the Risk Management and Steering Committee of BoD for that project. The representatives of the Abacus Consultants, who are executing ERP in Fesco, told they would execute the project with utmost care and devotion. They further told that at international level many power companies were being used their SAP system and they were providing the ERP system according to the needs of Fesco and necessary training would be provided to the staff also.
