Horizon Energy Corporation today announced it has signed an agreement with South Texas-based T-JAY EXPLORATION, LLC, to evaluate several oil and natural gas prospects. The leases are located in the south Texas counties of Victoria and San Patricio. The agreement with T-JAY is the third in Horizon’s ongoing efforts to identify prospective opportunities for the exploration, development and production of domestic oil and gas.

According to Texas oil and gas data provider texasdrilling.com, there are currently 8,105 drilled wells on 238 producing leases in Victoria County, and 8,465 drilled wells on 226 producing leases in San Patricio County.
