InfoTech Group, one of Pakistan’s leading System Integrator, is proud to announce it has successfully won the bid to provide the Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) a complete suite of technology systems and solutions, a project that is funded by USAID - under its Power Distribution Program-administered by International Resources Group (IRG-USA).
InfoTech was awarded the contract, following a competitive bidding process, based upon its experience of implementing similar solutions within and outside Pakistan including CIS, Billing and Smart Grid initiatives at SSGC (Sui Southern Gas Company) and KE (Karachi Electric).
As part of the project, InfoTech will supply and implement Oracle’s Utility Suite for Billing & Customer Care, and seamlessly integrate the same with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Suite of Oracle, including Financials, HRMS & Supply Chain. Once implemented these technology solutions will enable PESCO to improve billings, collections, and revenue management, allowing the company to be more service-oriented and focused on customer needs. With the solutions in place, PESCO hopes for substantial reduce technical and non-technical energy losses, including reductions in energy theft and power factor optimisation.
