Sherpa Altitude IG Offers Reporting and Analytics-

3/10/2014 by

Sherpa Software has just officially launched the latest version of its signature platform for policy-driven information governance, Sherpa Altitude IG™. This release marks the introduction of data profiling with the Reports and Analytics module, making it one of the most complete ESI management platforms available. Keeping with its tradition of incorporating easy-to-use features to one of the industry's most cost-effective options for unified policy enforcement, Altitude IG helps organizations manage the information lifecycle from inception to final disposition.

Altitude IG's extensible architecture means releases often include support for new data silos; this release is no different and incorporates Office 365 as a supported content source.

"We specifically designed Altitude IG with a modular architecture so additional content sources could easily be added," said Rick Wilson, VP of strategy and solutions at Sherpa Software. "But the major enhancement launched last week remains the Reports and Analytics module."

Altitude IG's robust reporting and analytics allow users to inventory ESI, gather intelligence, create dashboards and visualize data like never before. The Reports and Analytics module includes the ability to:

  • Inventory ESI across the enterprise including user desktops
  • Gather information intelligence to help formulate information management policies
  • Visualize corporate data footprint through intuitive graphical charts
  • Identify duplicate information in and across multiple data silos
  • Create customizable dashboards to easily monitor relevant data statistics

With its September release of Altitude IG, Sherpa Software continues to enhance and differentiate this evolving platform for the management of electronically stored information. From the Altitude IG-hosted dashboard, users can monitor system status, check notifications, initiate policies and view reports. Sherpa's secure hybrid approach to policy enforcement means sensitive data can be secured and managed in-place, making defensible deletion, retention, search and reporting easier and more cost-effective than ever before.
