Four new products target HR staff management, performance monitoring and payroll cloud migration

SAP has announced a new tool set to help customers quickly implement human capital management (HCM) software.

The new products come under the umbrella of the German tech giant’s SuccessFactors range and are called “rapid deployment solutions” because they aim to help users quickly adopt SuccessFactors products.

First of the four tools, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, offers HR managers a view of employee absence and allows them to organise people’s time off.

Employee Central Payroll – only available in the US – lets customers speed up their migration of payroll processes into the cloud while Align & Perform lets managers manage staff performance and monitor their progress towards goals.

The Succession & Development tool lets organisations identify candidates for “key roles as well as rapidly filling vacancies internally.

Mike Ettling, president of SAP’s HR Line of Business, said: “HR organisations are rapidly moving to the cloud to benefit from standardization and simplification. And they want the move to be quick and nondisruptive.
