Reseller contact agreed between Zinnovate and Yellowfin

18/11/2015 by

It has been revealed that Yellowfin has agreed a global reseller agreement with Stockholm-based Zinnovate. Yellowfin offers a business intelligence (BI) system aimed at business-users and a suite of professional services associated with the tool. As a result of the agreement, Zinnovate will be able to provide these products to its current clients and potential customers not only throughout Sweden but also the global transport and logistics industry.

Speaking about the latest move, Hakan Nilsson, the chief executive of Zinnovate, explained that the consultancy firm had partnered with Yellowfin because the BI tools available will be able to answer growing demand for such a solution in the logistics market. “Yellowfin addresses a very important gap in Sweden’s, and the globe’s, BI tools market. More often than not, small- to mid-sized businesses (SMBs) are unable to reap the benefits of enterprise quality BI due to exorbitant cost and complexity,” he said.

Yellowfin has made a name for itself offering BI tools with world-class features. Intuitive dashboards, collaborative BI functionality and location analytical capabilities are just three functions available. These solutions are also offered at a price that is accessible for SMBs, which has made Yellowfin attractive to organisations not able to afford more complex and expensive tools.

Raffael Dessi, a systems development manager from Zinnovate, explained that the company’s clients will not have to accept hefty prices anymore; in addition, they will not have to compromise on technology and end up using tools that have insufficient product functionality. “Zinnovate offers its clients innovative best-of-breed solutions – so we only partner with technology providers that are the best at what they do,” he said.

In addition to being available as web-based application, Yellowfin’s BI can be deployed in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) setting from the start. This means it can be used both as a cloud-based tool and an on-premise solution. Users can then automatically gain access to the full scope of features, including collaborative capabilities, mobile BI support and intuitive data visualisation options.

Peter Baxter, the managing director for Yellowfin’s EMEA operations, said: “Zinnovate are at the forefront of digital transformation in Sweden and throughout the global transport and logistics industries – especially in the areas of process automation, integration and business intelligence. Zinnovate’s ‘customer first’ approach to the reporting and analytics market means they are continually looking for ways to deliver client value quickly through innovative product partnerships that deliver unique value and support customer growth opportunities.”
