Enterprise Architect - Health and Data Standards required. An Enterprise Architect - Health and Data Standards is required by Montash's client, a leading technology company working in the healthcare sector, on an initial three month contract in London. Please note, you must come from a public sector healthcare background.
The Enterprise Architect - Health and Data Standards will have the following skills:
- In depth knowledge of Hospital Systems (either clinical or non-clinical or both).
- Knowledge and use of enterprise architecture tools and models.
- Awareness of NHS strategies, goals and objectives.
- Knowledge of the principles of:
- Data architecture.
- Application / system / solution architecture.
- Technical / Platform architecture.
- Infrastructure and network architecture.
- Security architecture.
- Integration architecture.
- Business architecture.
- Awareness of the non-functional environment for clinical systems (physical working locations, 24/7 operations, information governance, legal requirements, etc.).
- Effective time management and prioritisation.
- Wider financial / contractual processes within the NHS.
- Strong commercial and business acumen.
- Has experience of vendor management and negotiation.
- Contract negotiation and agreement.
- Project and programme management planning and organisational skills.
- Analysis and evaluation tools for specification gathering.
- Interpersonal and leadership skills - servant leadership, collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation skills.
- Emotional intelligence - self-awareness, confidence, ability to manage conflict, empathy.
- Communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand.
- Knowledge of IT governance and operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application, and systems engineering.
- Knowledge of financial modelling as it pertains to IT procurement & investment.

The Enterprise Architect - Health and Data Standards will have the following experience:
- Experience as an enterprise architect or other senior other architectural discipline.
- Experience working with senior management and their staff.
- Experience affecting major change to healthcare business processes.
- Experience affecting major change to non healthcare business processes.
- Experience of implementing projects in an OGC governed environment (PRINCE2, MSP).
- Board level presentations, documentation and briefings.
- Expert knowledge and application of a wide range of recognised Development Methodologies (e.g. Agile, SCRUM, RAD, SSADM, MOSCOW Analysis, Time box developments, DSDM) with a proven track record of successfully implementing these in large complex organisations.
- Substantial architectural solutions design experience within an organisation that uses a structured design methodology.
- Proven ability to initiate creative design solutions that solve business issues.
- Architectural dependencies (data, integration, process).
- Exposure to: Microsoft enterprise tools (e.g. SharePoint Dynamics, BizTalk, SQL Server, .NET etc.) and Messaging Services HL7, XML.
- Exposure to: Cisco network design, data-centre design, virtualisation technologies, telephony and real-time communication systems (such as bleeps).
- Full IT service lifecycle exposure.
- Experience managing a team of intellectual and committed individuals in a complex and versatile working environment.
- Effective engagement with senior stakeholder groups.
- Experience of managing a variety of large, complex projects - scheduling and planning skills important.
