PMO Lead - SC Cleared required. A PMO Lead who ideally has current SC Clearance is required by Montash's client, a leading technology company, based in Bristol. Please note that this role will be mostly remote, although you must be prepared to travel to client site in Bristol on occasion.

The PMO Lead will have the following experience:

  • Agile Project or Programme Management experience
  • +3 years' experience as a PMO Lead working with software / application delivery teams
  • PMP / Prince 2 /APM or equivalent project certification
  • A proven track record of managing change with customers / clients at senior levels including Programme Directors
  • Experience leading start up PMO activity and onboarding
  • Knowledge of project and programme governance / assurance practices
  • Supporting the management of budget and reporting of spend
  • Experience owning and maintaining the RAID
  • Understand procurement process for projects and programmes
  • Competent user of office applications including MS Project and PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint
  • Fluent English language written and verbal. Capable of interacting with stakeholders at all levels and creating clear and concise process documentation
  • Experienced presenter with track record for guiding the PMO
  • All candidates should be fully mobile in the UK: willing to work on projects across the UK and must have clearance to at least SC level
  • Previous experience delivering PLM systems
  • Project management experience
  • Jira and confluence experience

The PMO Lead will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead all the PMO activity on a scaled agile programme delivering a PLM greenfield implementation
  • Support the programme director manage scope, time and budgets effectively.
  • Lead and promote the competency standards for PMO reporting
  • Ensuring that corporate and project standards are applied and maintained
  • Coordinate the programme reporting within complex stakeholder landscape including to programme board level and delivery director level
  • Support the successful programme delivery using best practices including agile
  • Tracking benefits realisation and organizational change
  • Clearly communicate programme plans to stakeholders at all levels
  • Coordinate with competency leads within programme and ensure compliance and successful delivery
  • Maintain and update the RAID
  • Support escalations and risks surfaced by team practicing Scrum Agile delivery models
  • Support the high level programme planning activity, organizing planning meetings and attendees
  • Maintain stakeholder engagement map
  • Ensure effective resources management, tracking agreed KPI or OKR in line with the programme leadership structure
  • Organise HR compliance within programme boundaries
  • Collaborate with dispersed teams and ensure cultural awareness in delivering solutions by operating virtual teams online
  • Support lean thinking and the continuous improvement through lessons learned
  • Responsibility for escalation and conflict resolution in the PMO domain
