Job Opportunity: Project Manager

Overview: Montash is working with an exciting client in the Information and Technology services sector that is looking for a Project Manager to support the implementation of global programmes and projects, that has the objective of enabling future revenue streams and establish my clients platform businesses.

The Project Manager will be responsible for driving the implementation or systems and processes to support new or enhanced capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • As a PM you will be working with external partners and regional organisational units for the implementation of the project portfolios that support the transformation strategy
  • Work alongside the PMO to manage the regional change project budget (£500,000-£1,000,000) monitoring the cost against benefits and expenditures
  • Deliver the IT and business blueprints with approval and input from the Business Change Managers
  • Co-ordinate the projects ensuring the capabilities align with the global and regional blueprint
  • You will be responsible for the project plan, project initiation documents and monitor its progress ensuring the projects are delivered on time
  • Work closely with the Project Management Office
  • Manage stakeholders effectively
  • Define the global project, governance tools and programme process e.g. Risk Management, Change request process and issues

Requirements:

  • Experience working with waterfall and agile project management methodologies
  • Good experience collaborating and working with a 3rd party development team and suppliers
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Over 7 years' experience delivering complex business change/ transformation projects
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders
  • Experience creating and managing project teams and working in a matrix setting
  • Project management methodologies- PMBok or Prince2
  • Agile methodologies- Scaled Scrum or SAFe
  • MS project or equivalent
