Montash have been engaged by a leading Consultancy to source a Lead Enterprise Architect with SC Clearance for an initial 6 month contract based in Bristol. The role is on site with a Public Sector end Customer.

This role is outside of IR35.

The lead architect will set the pace, quality and expectation with senior customers on a high profile project

While AWS experience is not essential, experience in enterprise cloud architecture / AWS is highly desirable

The client must be able to take an Enterprise view on the architecture and identify opportunities for More architects/programmes of work within the programme

Brief Overview

The client want a lead/senior Enterprise architect initially to go in, draw out the target architecture understand the exit dependencies and how these map to the projects and how these projects map to the target architecture. They need to understand the dependencies between the projects and identify any gaps where architecture support is required and generate subsequent SOW's to flex the team up and down as required to fill those gaps and deliver the target architecture.

Transformation projects in flight

  • CVS - serverless / AWS. Building out the Dynamics platform in Azure upon which their enterprise CRM will be built out
  • Data repository - Aurora DB / Infomatica - AWS. Analytics TBD
  • CRM - Yet to start but will be Microsoft Dynamics in azure. Building out the CVS dynamics platform.

They have a footprint in Azure running things like AD, RDS, and other management / tooling. They are also looking at Azure at the target cloud for COTS applications and bespoke applications where there is neither the need, appetite, funding to transform to an immutable, automated pipeline approach. They are looking at using Azure for an MVP lift and shift, stand up some Azure VM's and have ensono support the cloud fabric. The client themselves support the OS's and then the relevant 3rd parties support the application on top.
