Technical Business Analyst- BI and Data- London- Permanent

Overview: Montash is working with an industry leader in its field who through its continued growth in their organisation are looking to hire a Technical Business Analyst- BI and Data. You will be based in their Paddington office with the opportunity to work from home at least one day a week. You will be required to document, analyse and provide solutions for my clients external and internal clients.


  • Convert the current requirements into actionable technical requirements that can be implemented by the development team
  • Take lead on the requirement review procedure
  • Consult regularly with the Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure test coverage and requirement compliance during reviews of the Test Plans
  • You are responsible for supporting the implementation of the technical requirements
  • When requested you will be responsible for supporting the User Acceptance Testing process
  • Work effectively alongside an Agile Scrum team
  • If necessary, propose ideas for the wireframe design for UIs for potential end user facing features


  • Experience in a similar role constructing industry proven data
  • Proven application and data warehousing skillset (Greenplum, Oracle, Hadoop)
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence solutions (Cognos, Tableau or similar)
  • Able to take control of the requirements acceptance/review process
  • Able to assess test plans for coverage and provide support for UAT activities
  • Able to act as a referent for QA and DEV resources for the duration of the development process from the first requirement review to production support
  • Experience Data Modelling
  • Business Intelligence/Warehousing solutions
  • Knowledge of integrating in a Scrum focused development team (Scrum Master certification is a bonus)
  • Previous experience working on projects in different geographical locations
  • Knowledge of the travel industry is a bonus
  • Previous experience of proposing end user UX to meet the business requirements. Any knowledge of a wire framing solution (for example Balsamiq) is welcomed
  • Skilled with a extensive set of authoring tools (MS Office Suite including Wiki, Visio etc)
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a team (both written and verbal)
  • You are responsible for your assigned tasks and assignments related to the project

Package- Salary: 45-55k + bonus and benefits
