Job Description

Application Architect required. Application Architect required by Montash's prestigious market-leading client based in Coventry. As Application Architect you will play a key role in defining an application rationalisation strategy which will enable the organisation to implement a scalable, resilient, secure and cost effective application suite that aligns with their corporate business strategy.

As Application Architect you will also establish an architectural roadmap to implement the application architecture strategy, and help develop the business cases for technical workstreams.

The Application Architect will be responsible for tracking and developing the application portfolio, applying application life cycle strategies for acquisition, enhancement, replacement, consolidation and retirement of applications, as well as ensuring architectural reuse, consistency and integrity within the application portfolio.

It is highly desirable if you have a history of analysing the existing IS infrastructure and business applications of enterprise organisations, making suitable recommendations for appropriate technology solutions to meet business requirements.

Alongside expert technical expertise you will also be a strong communicator with the ability to liaise with business people and stakeholders at all levels.
