Job Description

Application Technical Lead (Java, XML, JSON, Jenkins, GIT) -up to £75,000

Location: Central London

I am currently working with an award winning Digital Agency that has secured a number of exciting projects.

They are small enough for you to stand out, but large enough to keep you working with household brands!

To support their growth they are seeking an experienced Application Technical lead that is accustomed in working with complex and demanding environments.

The ideal candidate would have come from an Engineering / Development background, but has recently been leading teams.

About you:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience leading different teams (frontend, Java, QA, CMS and DevOps Engineers)
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience working in digital transformations.
  • Experience leading, coaching and mentoring engineers.

Must have:

  • Triaging Web System issues & fault finding
  • Excellent Java Programming Skills
  • Experience in XML, JSON, SQL, Git
  • Experience in Continuous Integration system like Jenkins
  • Ideally experience with Grails/Groovy
  • Worked on a Content Management System (CMS)
