Automation Test Lead - 60-65k + benefits

Opportunity

This opportunity is for a proven and experienced Automation Test Lead , the role include reviewing the breadth of automation requirements for my client's technology solutions within a DevOps plan in addition to working and planning automation frameworks across their projects.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for automation projects across various technologies and working with the Capability Lead to plan the development of the automation workstream going forward. The candidate will join an expanding team to focus on the Agile and Iterative development projects. The role successful candidate will be required to play hands on role in project and implement automation.

We hire professionals, passionate about the benefits technology can bring to business. It is likely that the majority of people who meet our criteria will come from a large-scale consulting or systems integration backgrounds with a significant experience in the delivery of testing services.

Successful candidates will typically have:

A minimum of 8 years relevant work experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.

Previous working experience with both commercial and open source automation tools, such as the Microsoft/HP toolkit, in addition to and other Open Source tools.

Knowledge of Behavioral Driven Development tools such as SpecFlow, Cucumber and JBehave or similar

An understanding of DevOp's and Continuous Delivery tools such as Nagios, Jenkins, TeamCity,

Docker or similar.

Previous working experience with automation framework design and implementation.

Firm knowledge of software test methodologies and approaches including Test Driven Development and Risk-Based.

Strong automation scripting capabilities, a background in software development and ideally the candidate will possess programming skills.

The candidate needs to have good communication skills and the ability to communication effectively within the team and with the client.

Knowledge of SDLC models such as Agile and Waterfall.
