AWS Architect (Premier AWS Partner)

I am working with a Premier AWS Partner that is experiencing tremendous growth across the UK & Ireland. The team compromises of world class professionals who are passionate about technology.

Looking for a hands on AWS architect to be part of the growing Cloud practice. Primary location will be London and should be willing to travel.


Required skills:

  1. Certified in AWS Solution architect
  2. 5+ years of experience in Cloud technologies and architecting Cloud solutions.
  3. 3+ years of experience in architecting and deploying AWS environments
  4. Clear understanding of various AWS services and reference architecture
  5. Should be able to work at client's site and in collaboration with the client team. You must be motivated, self-driven individual, focused on consulting around cloud-based solutions and services. Should be an experienced "solution-oriented" consultant with good sales acumen with IT solutions design/development background
  6. Ability to work closely with business to understand and incorporate non-functional requirements in the application and infrastructure architecture
  7. Ability to calculate the ROI from adopting cloud and articulate this to customer
  8. Enterprise Architecture exposure/knowledge is needed to connect with customer Architects/CTO/CIO's and ability to instantly whiteboard and do mindshare on solutions ,possible options
  9. Serve as a key member in the cloud leadership team and help close sales as well as expand portfolios through his/her consulting and program management skills
    Specific skills:
  1. Hands on experience on AWS services; EC2, VPC creation, Security rule configuration, DR, AWS DWH platforms
  2. Experience with automation technologies like CloudFormation, Jenkins, Chef and Puppet
  3. Understanding of DevOps and implementation of DevOps in large organizations.
  4. Ability to hire / ramp up teams at Client locations and hand hold the team members around technical issues
  5. Provide an technical oversight to project / program delivery
