Lead Data Architect - Big Data Architect

My cleint is a leading global consumer products company who are heavily investing in data innovation and seeking highly capable Big Data experts to join a completely new big data lab situated in cool, vibrant office location in Amsterdam. This is a highly ambitious programme for strategic data initiatives and will be at the cutting edge of technology and ahead of the curve on big data/analytics solutions.

We have multiple vacancies for strong Data Architect's and Data Engineers to embark on this journey. As you are joining from the beggining you will take a senior/mentorship role for future hires across architecture, engineers and data scientist's driving innovative use cases of data and monetisation.

Desired Skills and Experience

You will ideally have experience in the some of the following:

- 8+ years in BI, Data, Data Base architecture, Big data design, development, testing and implementation

- Advanced experience with BI tools (e.g. Birst, Cognos, BO, Qlikview)

- Experience with Data Integration tools (e.g. SSIS, Informatica, Python, Abinitio)

- Experience with Database tools (e.g Oracle/SQL, Teradata, MYSQL, DB2)

- Demonstrable experience with Hadoop or related tech (e.g Hive NoSQL)

- Strong SQL and data modelling expertise

- Experienc of programming skills in Java or Python

- Strong interpersonal skills.

- strong problem solving skills

- Degree Educated in Computer Science, Information Technology or Related field
