Job Description

Big Data Consultant

 

Montash have been engaged by a Global Consultancy to source and secure a Big Data Consultant to provide deep technical knowledge and thought leadership, working across a number of key clients. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

  • Work on both pre-sales and existing client relationships, influencing senior customer executives and decision making processes
  • Take an influential role in strategic planning for client use of Big Data
  • Interface with internal teams by working with new product initiatives to ensure completeness and relevance to customer requirements

 

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive experience leading and guiding organisations in Data, Architecture and Analytics strategy
  • Wide experience across a range of "Big Data" and Business Intelligence technologies, such as Hadoop, NoSQL, Tableau, Qlikview, SAS, Pentaho
  • Experience in programming technologies, such as Java, Python
  • Knowledge of cloud computing
  • Excellent business facing skills, combined with a deep technical understanding of data technologies
