Job Description

Business Analyst - Technical Requirements for Public Sector

UK Wide

Montash are currently retained by a leading consultancy who are seeking a set of experienced Business Analysts to join their Public Sector team. The ideal candidate will have experience in helping clients to translate their business requirements into technical requirements in order to define an IT solution so that their enterprise needs are met.

Role and responsibilities

  • Gather , analyse and document clear business requirements
  • Workshop facilitation, conducting client interviews at varying seniority levels for technical and business focused client teams
  • Coordination with the company's technical teams in order to ensure the appropriate technical considerations are taken into account
  • Document current business processes
  • Meet future operational scenarios, working with the client and the company's teams to ensure correct translation of business requirements to technical solution requirements and specifications
  • Support development and test teams in their preparation and definition
  • Validate requirements, coordinate and lead design resolution queries as necessary

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Public sector experience is essential
  • Full lifecycle experience as a Business Analyst involved in gathering, definition, solutioning and supporting each project phase
  • Client facing experience and exposure to various levels of stakeholders across the business
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable presenting in front of groups
  • Experience in /with Agile and DevOps methods and tools
