IT Business Analyst - Retail - London - Up to £55,000 base + benefits

Our client is a British Multinational retailer who is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index are actively seeking a Business Analyst to join their team based in Central London.

My client is currently undergoing a large scale Digital transformation. Through an increased online customer base, my client has recognised the need to invest heavily within E-Commerce. As an IT Business Analyst, you will become a key figure in the transformation enablement and success.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-respected and recognised brand at the beginning stages of their ambitious growth plans.

Essential Skills:

  • Extensive experience working in a Business Analysis role previously.
  • Previous experience in retail or similar would be preferable but not essential
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Document and analyse the needs of the business
  • Define, validate and manage business requirements
  • Support the creation of project proposals and business cases
  • Work closely with end users and technology providers to develop solution designs
  • Analyse, validate and document existing business processes and map functional and non-functional requirements onto the to-be process model
  • Evaluate potential solutions against requirements-based criteria
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing of system changes and support I.T. projects through to successful delivery, implementation and operation against pre-determined acceptance criteria
  • Understand and plan for the impact of business change
  • Ensure that all business facing documents are created and in place to sustain the use of the new business system
  • Facilitate planning for benefits realisation
  • Coach and mentor less experienced colleagues in business analysis best practice
