Business Intelligence Program Manager / BI Program Manager / Analytics

My Client is a complex global giant who are seeking a strong Business Intelligence Project or Program Manager with previous expereince working in a large global corporate organisation.

As BI / Analytics Program Manager your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Managing end-to-end solution delivery from idea formulation to hand-over to Service Management
  • Understanding customers' objectives to define the appropriate engagement model
  • Directing the project planning effort and preparing the solution proposal incl. scoping, timelines, effort, staffing, cost
  • Provide overall direction and leadership of the project team, possibly geographically dispersed, including external providers
  • Ensure completion of all project deliverables to above and beyond expected levels
  • Manage project / program risks, establishing effective controls and driving mitigation actions
  • Tracking key project metrics, issues, risks, changes
  • Produce monthly status reports
  • Compliance to quality standards for project deliverables
  • Fully integrate project team members
  • Aligning with Service Management and supporting ramp-up of operational model
  • Liasing and acting as the bridge between Business, IT and Supplier.

You should have a demonstrable track record of project or program delivery and a strong understanding within the BI & analytics space. Your skills and experience will ideally include:

  • Over 6 years of experience in project and program management
  • Project / Program Management certification (e.g. PMP/PgMP, Prince2) nice to have
  • Over 5 years of relevant BI experience, with some technical background or understanding in one or several of the following stacks: SAP BW, SAP BO, SAP HANA, SAP BPC, Microstrategy, DB2, Informatica Powercenter
  • Proven ability to drive teams for highly effective delivery leveraging multi-source staffing models including internal and external partners
  • Experience in agile delivery methods (e.g. Scrum) preferred
  • Self-reliant and pro-active personality which is focused on being productive and contributing value to the organization
  • Ability to present project objectives, progress reporting, and facilitate review meetings with senior audience while demonstrating strong business acumen
  • Experience working in a complex global organization, under time pressure and to manage ambiguity
  • Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder engagment abilities
  • University level education or equivalent
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written). Further languages preferred (German, French, Spanish)
