Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Business Solution Architect exists within a British financial institution. This individual will be positioned within a growing department, The Programme Architecture Practice, and will have the challenge of architecting and delivering solutions for a large change portfolio of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • An extensive exposure to and experience of architecting and delivering business change, business process and multi-disciplinary, cross functional change
  • Deliver solutions which impact on customers and provide optimal business whilst maintaining a focus on the commercial element
  • An understanding of developing business roadmaps and operating models
  • Be able to manage complex, well-engineered documentation materials
  • Be able to make time effective and informed decisions
  • Have a personal interest and drive to contribute and shape the wider IT strategy of the organisation

Ideal candidate:

  • Have an interest in the capabilities and benefits of new operating models and technologies
  • An individual with a wide range of experience of solution architecture and business change
  • Someone who has previously used architectural frameworks to deliver successful change
  • Stakeholder management experience as well as experience of working closely with senior executive levels
  • Strong communication skills
  • Be a driven individual who is keen to develop both your own skills and your colleagues

Key Requirements:

  • Act as a design authority in ensuring solutions are implementable and meet future requirements of the business
  • Be able to advice on complex matters, business functions and delivery solutions
  • Lead end to end architecture
