Job Description

C++ Developer (Exchange Connectivity) - London - £600 per day - ASAP START

Skills / Qualifications

This C++ Developer must have the following skills and qualities:

  • Strong C++ developer including experience with multi-threaded programming, performance optimization
  • Market Access and especially market data experience
  • Connectivity into financial markets (FX, Equities, Rates and Credit is preferred)
  • Strong understanding of messaging and networking
  • A number of years' experience working in a finance environment, preferably within Investment Banking
  • Proactive and flexible approach to dealing with challenges
  • Highly motivated to work directly with traders
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to describe and defend technical decisions
  • Strong analytical skills

The following experience would be desirable:

  • Experience of FX or Equities business
  • Experience of DMA
  • Experience of high-performance / low latency development
  • Proven ability to deliver front office systems
