Change & Transition Manager - Global Financial Client - €45-50k + package - Barcelona, Spain - ASAP Start

Montash have been engaged by a global financial client in order to secure an experienced Change & Transition Manager to define and execute an agreed stategy and continous improvements initiatives across Shared Service Provider (SSP) operations. They will also be responsible for driving work / process transitions to our SSP operations, advising and supporting key stakeholders and Business Units along the way. The role holder will coordinate and track all SSP related initiatives across Group Finance Operations.

Key Repsonsibilities:

  • Support to the definition of strategy for the nominated SSPs and general FinOps strategic components
  • Act as an advocate for the customer by addressing the customer's service needs and coordinating with the appropriate business partner/SSP for resolution.
  • Develop tactical plans from strategic principles defining which initiatives are needed to deliver agreed objectives or resolve issues.
  • Proactively lead & promote process re-design, alignment between systems and processes and effective delivery of Finance Operations services locally and globally.
  • Design, manage and deliver projects in line with appropriate engagement, process and governance.
  • Lead cross functional virtual teams to implement projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Drive appropriate Cost Benefits Analysis and governance for initiatives considered.
  • Record, track and declare value of all initiatives coordinated.
  • Provide technical and Business expertise in support of Finance Operation core functions in particular in relation to the transition of work activity to SSPs.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 10 or more years of experience in related field
  • Program / project management experience with defining and driving change initiatives
  • Experience of managing vendors, ideally SSPs/BPO providers
  • Experience with Outsourced Providers including transitions and performance management preferred
  • Experience managing geographically distributed teams and people
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification helpful
  • English language; written and oral
  • Spanish & other language capability an advantage
