Job Description

Project Change/ Transformation Project Manager-Permanent

Montash is currently retained by a leading utilities organisation with a large market share in their sector who are seeking a Project Change Manager with strong commercial knowledge and coming from an operations background.

The Change Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring transformation and change delivery to both internal and external customers with sustainable realisation of agreed benefits. The Project manager will work with managers from across the business in addition to alliance partners to define the ensuing programme of work.

The successful candidate will be able to drive change through collaboratively working across the varying business units to deliver and drive strategic direction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering key projects and maintaining strong internal and external connections
  • Improving the overall end to end processes associated with project and change management
  • Proactively challenging the status quo that exists within the company, including constraints placed by the project sponsor and leadership team, so that concepts and desired outcomes are translated onto clear project definition and an achievable plan.

Desirable skills:

  • Proven track record of effective business delivery for a large organisation, preferably within the utilities sector
  • Strong leadership credentials displayed through the delivery of key projects
  • The ability to form strong, lasting relationships throughout the business.
