Job Description

Cloud Orchestrator Solution Architect - Ireland - 12 Month Contract (extendable assignment)

We are looking for someone with Orchestration experience in a Network / Cloud / Internet Software Provider and / or Service Provider, with the proven skills to engage Senior C-Level Stakeholders regarding Orchestration.

You will support a planned relationship with a core group of Tier 1 clients, and a Joint Innovation Centre with a minimum of 1 Service Provider. You will lead the business perceptions design and architecture for the Orchestrator, with a specific focus on the Infrastructure enablement innovation venture acting as an association between there lab customers and appointment teams.

You will lead solution understanding for the Customer Engagement, so that the lab can focus on the creation of the Ecosystem to meet the customer's needs.

This Cloud Orchestrator Solution Architect, will have responsibilities in the following areas:

  • E2E Orchestrator products and solution portfolio and roadmap development.
  • Design and implement an Orchestrator business model.
  • Guide the future overall planning and design of solutions based on the efficient Internet Operation & Maintenance mode and be the lead for differentiating competitiveness.
  • Incubate Orchestration market leadership and manage strategic marketing objectives.

Experience and skill necessities for this Cloud Orchestrator Solution Architect:

  • Minimum of 15 years' experience, 7 years of a customer engagement position or leadership in a Service Providers.
  • Experience in designing solutions and iterating through agile development models for service provider operations.
  • Cloud experience with some exposure to working with the main carriers.
  • Have an in-depth understanding of cloud trends and challenges faced or experience with evolution to Software Defined Network (SDN).
  • Network Virtualization Function (NFV), Cloud / Virtualization and Data Centre Orchestration.
