Continual Service Improvement Manager - Reading - Up to £65,000

Our client a leading Utilities company are actively seeking a Continual Service Improvement Manager to join their team based in Reading.

The Continual Service Improvement Manager will be expected to define opportunities and evaluate and create business cases for continuous service improvement across services, processes, technology, functions, organisational capability and maturity across the service delivery organisation.

Essential Skills;

  • Significant experience working in an IT operational environment with a good understanding of technology and operational security
  • The ability to deliver continuous improvement against agreed criteria
  • Experience of the regulatory and audit requirements within an operational environment
  • Broad knowledge of service management and continuous service improvement technologies
  • ITIL intermediate

Responsibilities:

  • Support the maintenance of the continual service improvement framework, the 7-step improvement process, the CSI Model, procedures and guidelines.
  • Work with the project pipeline and programme office providing business cases to support progression of continuous service improvement projects.
  • Support the collection of service baseline data capture and then review all services at agreed timelines and present recommendations for improvements to senior management and the IT senior leadership team.
  • To ensure CSI Financial Reporting is in place and to provide appropriate CSAT/DSAT opportunities and reporting.
  • Use global standards to support all CSI activities and opportunities and support the provision of CSI management reporting.
  • Progress the development of appropriate automation and tools to improve all service delivery and CSI activities
  • To work in collaboration with the operational risk & compliance manager
  • Act as out of hours IT escalation manager on a rota basis to support stakeholder management.
