Job Description

Cyber Security Consultant - London - £30,000 - £50,000 - Leading Consultancy - Exceptional Training & Progression Plan - Join The Global Leaders.

My client is a leading consultancy whose security division has undergone significant growth and has increased its product portfolio over the past 18 months. This success has come about due to the long-lasting relationships that they have developed with their enterprise level clients plus high-profile projects that have been won with new clients recently.

This recent success has created an opening for a Cyber Security Consultant to join the team at this imperative time in the business. This is excellent opportunity for any candidate that wants to join a team of experts that are at the 'bleeding edge' of cyber security technology and methods. The role here would start out as fairly generalist providing stakeholders with expertise regarding their day to day running and projects, helping with strategic direction and providing technical insight. The opportunity is here to then become an SME in specialist areas in cyber security as you progress.

The successful candidate will have: -

  • 18+ months experience working in cyber / information security.
  • Good understanding of application & infrastructure security standards & frameworks (OWASP)
  • In depth knowledge of IT infrastructure. (OS, databases, networks, etc)

Desirable but not essential: -

  • Cyber security certifications such as CISA, CISSP, etc
  • Knowledge of security legislation, frameworks and standards ( IS027001, PCI-DSS, PSD, etc)

To discuss this opportunity and other cyber security opportunities in more detail please send your CV to o.thomas@montash.com or call Oliver Thomas on +44 (0)20 7014 0230 in complete confidence ASAP.

2017-09-21 09:00:00 +0100

Hacks occur every 39 seconds, with 95% of them targeting governments, retailers and the tech industry. If the hackers are caught, they'll face prison time under the Computer Misuse Act. More often than not, the businesses who are victims of those attacks expose themselves to punishment of their own.
