IMMEDIATE START -Data Governance Analyst

Location: London

Duration: 6 Months

Day Rate: £400-£500

The successful candidate will be expected to fulfil the role of a Data Governance analyst as follows:

  • Be part of a growing team that is at the heart of our investment in regulatory and business driven change
  • Develop skills in data governance definition and implementation as part of the role
  • Operate as a business analyst in the context of risk and data, contributing to the enhancement and embedding of risk data governance
  • Design and create key documentation, including data definitions, metrics, and supporting methodologies
  • Contribute to the definition and creation of the set of tools used by the team
  • Support the implementation of data governance metrics
  • Contribute to the effort to back-populate data governance to existing stock of critical data.
  • Will be able to report to group level


Computing Skills Required:

  • Fluency with MS Office tools
  • Exposure to SQL


Knowledge/Skills/Experience Required:

  • Strong analytical skills with a creative and flexible approach to problem solving
  • Capacity to work effectively in a team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of market and/or counterparty risk


Minimum Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, risk, IT or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience; data or risk related business analysis experience preferred
