Job Description

Data Governance Manager

An opportuntiy has arisen in a global investment organisation for an experinced data governance professional. This is an excellent opportunity to get a hands on global perspective of the data governance strategy of a multinational global investment firm. Placed strategically within the organisation, you will be directly repsonsible for the data governance strategy of the organisation under the direct supervision of the Global Head of Data Architecture.

 

Key Responsibilites

  • Design and implementation of the Data Governance Model
  • Provide example templates, standards and documentation covering the full spectrum of data governacne activities
  • Support the Global Head of Data Architecture in the successful operation of the Data Governance Board
  • Providing regular updates on progress in terms of design and implementation
  • Highlight any blockages which are inhibiting progress
  • Provide any additional subject matter expertise as and when requested by the DGB

Experience/Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of Data Architecture, Data Lifecycles, Logical Data Modelling concepts and practices
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements
  • Financial industry knowledge
  • 5 year's experience in a similar or related role
