Solution Architect - Data

Montash have a great opportunity working on a great business transformation programme in Bristol.

The client I'm working for is looking for a Solution Architect with experience in Data management (MDM) and Data Centre designs. The successful candidate will be required to help with immediate and specific areas of the data design, migration and architecture and to support the delivery of the programme, defining aspects of the landscape for the key data entities within the technical solution as well as supporting the overall governance and definition of the remaining data elements of the solution architecture

You will be responsible for

  • Producing a data landscape design describing at the entity/object type level the distribution of entities across databases needed to meet the requirements of Data Migration, Consumption and Maintenance, and Reporting.
  • Confirm which data attributes required are in the data warehouse(s), and where not already available to specify changes to ETL routines from identified source systems.
  • Ensure that all work and documentation undertaken is properly captured, is consistent with company standards, is version controlled and held securely so that it can be easily accessed by the right people.
