Dev Engineer - Amsterdam - 6/12 Month Contract

Montash are working with a globally recognised organisation who are leading and championing DevOps on a global scale, we are currently looking for a Dev Engineer with Cassandra experience to join a rapidly expanding data team.

The role: Dev Engineer / Cassandra

As a Dev Engineer you will be working in a team that are accountable for the data model, and use of data and tuning the queries. You will have a track record of creating highly scalability mission-critical applications, along with developing efficient and maintainable code.

Key Skills and experience for this Dev Engineer are as followed:

  • Cassandra
  • Java & Scala - OO design experience and knowledge of design patterns
  • Apache Spark / Apache Solr
  • Agile Development & Scrum
  • DevOps stack: Linux, Python and scripting
