DevOps Solution Architect - Dublin, Ireland - 12 month contract

DevOps Architect required. Montash has been engaged by a technical consultancy, who is looking to acquire the services of an experienced DevOps Architect for an initial 12 month contract based in Dublin, Ireland.

The DevOps Architect will be a joining a talented and driven team of consultants, technical architects and project managers, who are delivering several exciting technical solutions into clients across Ireland and Mainland Europe.

Our client is a genuine leading light within the technical consultancy space, and it is highly desirable that you are incredibly passionate about deployment automation and DevOps.

In the summary, the DevOps Architect will have the following skills and capabilities:

  • High-level understanding of software systems design.
  • Design and deployment practices.
  • Cattle application architecture and 12-Factor App methodology. Highly desirable but not essential.
  • Understanding of standard IP networking technologies including switching, routing, load balancing, routing, firewalls, DHCP and DNS.
  • Familiarity of volume and storage management solutions such as GlusterFS, LVM and CEPH
  • Skills in using open source tools for security, automation, database management and networking.
  • Ability to provide detailed solution architecture descriptions to customers and implementation teams.
