Job Description

Montash have been retained by a large manufacturing organisation based in Germany who are looking for a Linux Systems Engineer on a contract basis.

As a Linux Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and automating various Linux servers. You will act as a source of information for the developers and business owners in scrum teams and you will deliver on new systems (installation and configuration) and consider how these process can be improved.

KEY SKILLS:

Strong background and proven experience in Linux.

Opensource minded

Strong experience of shell scripting such as a Python or Bash.

Cloud products such as Openstack and AWS.

Configuration management such as Chef or Puppet IIS and .NET.

Strong proven systems engineering experience.

You will be working 5 days on site in Germany for 6 months initially, although this is negotiable. Please note the hourly rate is also negotiable depending on experience.
