BICC Manager - Business Intelligence Competency Centre Leader

 

My client a leading Swiss Financial Services company is seeking a Director of Business Intelligence to spearhead its newly formed Business Intelligence Competency Centre with responsibility for BI reporting and Big Data/Analytics. This is an excellent opportunity to help shape a function and drive a strategy for a long term basis, with a view of bringing the organisation providing cutting edge of BI & Analytics solutions that add real business value.

 

  • Management of team of 8 specialists with view to grow where needed
  • BI strategy - align to overall company mission of customer orientation (with particular attention to customer Analytics roadmap)
  • BI Governance - Best practice across business and technical areas
  • BI Architecture - design of overall BI solution architecture
  • BI Technology - development of tools for reporting and analytics; supporting four functional workstreams
  • Drives Data Quality
  • Support companywide initiatives from BI perspectives
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, ability to negotiate with and drive business stakeholders

 

 

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Understanding and ability to identify trends in Business Intelligence and predictive analytics
  • 10 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence
  • Communication, presentation and credibility on BI topics
  • Experience managing a diverse team of specialists
  • Experience of consulting domain either in a management consultancy or internally for a professional organisation
  • Must have German Fluency
