European IT Manager; (Associate Director) Global Household Name - London - 90K-100K + benefits

Our client is one of the world's leading house hold brands, with a revenue of over £20 billion are currently seeking an IT leader who will be responsible for major areas of their business including, Sales, Marketing, CRM and BI for Europe.

The role offers an opportunity to really transform the way the company approaches the above areas and make a mark in the company's future

Requirements:

  • University Degree, MBA or post graduate degree preferable
  • Experience of working in a commercial business
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders from different functions and different organizational levels
  • Experience in managing all areas of IT including IT planning and budgeting, systems development, technology infrastructure, and vendor management
  • Good influencing, people and project management skills
  • If you have an appreciation for Sales, Marketing, CRM and BI this will be advantageous.
  • This role is looking for someone who cares about their career and what they can achieve.

Responsibilities:

  • Playing an active role as a member of the management team to drive business improvement
  • Innovating and influencing how we leverage technology in the organization; identifying opportunities to transform the business through the application of technology.
  • Working together with global IT groups to ensure alignment of IT strategy with the business priorities and maximize value creation.
  • Aligning local IT resources and local suppliers to provide the technology solutions and ongoing support per plan.
  • Managing a strategic program to drive capability across the region, working with other BRMs to understand business requirements; collaborating with experts across the region, in a matrix with the global IT team.
