Job Description

Montash are currently in partnership with a leading client in the seismic industry for a Geophysical Analyst. This position is for an on-board geophysical analyst. As a basic requirement, the applicant will need to have either a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Geology, Geophysics, or a combination of both equivalent experience and three years of related experience. Computer-handling experience with a PC and/or workstations is required (preferably with Unix).

It will be the Geophysical Analyst's responsibilities to process data, reproduce jobs (from master) and verify completion, identify problems, grasp geophysical concepts, understand various software and their uses, show an interest for both clients' and company's needs, and to understand and evaluate the quality of their own work.
