Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Head of Architecture and Engineering. Due to a recent acquisition this company have become a larger, more complex business and have a need for a Head of Architecture to help guide and align the organisations future further growth plans.

Responsibilities:

  • This position will make you responsible for a team of 35, responsible for the delivery of the Engineering Services
  • You will be responsible for the Infrastructure technology roadmap and the development of standard, global services in support of the business and application requirements
  • Be responsible for engineering products meeting the aligned business requirements
  • Oversee and guide the roadmap for infrastructure services and products, making sure that this reflects a culture of innovation
  • Deliver the portfolio of work to deliver an integrated roadmap
  • Be able to design, supervise and aid in the
  • Be the leading contact for the infrastructure service providers and coordinate in designing, guiding and installing infrastructure and end user technologies
  • Be able to support and guide a team of engineers and steer engineering solutions to meet the business needs

Ideal candidate

  • Strong Architecture background as well as a strong engineering background would be preferable
  • Have strong experience of infrastructure components and IT Security standards
  • Someone who values company culture and is keen to build relationships with stakeholders
  • Get buy in "sell" portfolios to CxO community
  • Experience of working in an a globe organisation
  • Be able to lead, coach, train and manage teams and have a good track record of this
  • Be an innovative individual that can solve complex situations
