Job Description

Montash is currently retained by a global insurance organisation seeking an Infrastructure Architect to join their growing business. The Infrastructure Architect is responsible for being the bridge between other architecture domains, operations, and business teams to ensure that technology infrastructure meets both divisional and enterprise goals.

Serve as principal point of contact for all End User Technology Domain related solutions & services, through development and maintenance of end user technology infrastructure strategies, standards, architectures, designs, patterns, guidelines & road maps that are cohesive and aligned with overarching enterprise architecture (EA) and infrastructure roadmaps.

Desired skills and experience:

Ability to develop architectures & product/service standards that directly translate to operational deliveries in a globally consistent fashion.

  • Able to communicate complex technological situations in non-technical language to a wide variety of audiences.
  • End User - Extensive architecture & design experience with the entire Citrix stack of technologies (Xen-A, Xen-D, NetScaler, Xen-Client), as well as Microsoft desktop technologies (Windows OS, Systems Centre suite) & foundational Microsoft services (Office 365, Exchange, Outlook, Active Directory, Name Services, Group Policy).
  • Networking - Good practical understanding of LAN & WAN technologies/capabilities that support & enable End-User services.
  • Server & Storage - Good practical understanding of Intel based computer technologies & storage systems that support & enable End-User services.
