Job Description

Infrastructure Architect

Duration: 3 Months

Day Rate: £400-£500

Currently working with a Global Financial Organisation to source and secure an Infrastructure Architect. You will be responsible for the design of infrastructure solution architecture models in alignment of global infrastructure standards and principles as well as the promotion and support of those standards within the organisation. Must strong experience of working in IT operations/data centre.

1. Create Solution Architecture Specifications for the infrastructure domain that complements the application, data, integration and security solution architecture disciplines.

2. Support the Global Architecture Team in the creation of Infrastructure Architecture principles, guidelines and standards in relation to the Enterprise's multiple Computing Platforms (Desktop, Server and Mobile), the Storage Models and the Communication Platforms (WAN and LAN) for voice, video and data.

3. Collaborate with Application Architects, Data Architects, Integration and Security Architects such that architectures are designed for scalability, reliability, manageability, performance, security, and aligns with overall business and IT strategic direction (Direct Responsibility)

Must have proven experience of working on IT Operations / Data Centres.
