Job Description

Montash are retained by a FTSE 25 Consumer goods organisation headquartered in Bristol to source a detail oriented Infrastructure Security Architect to design the security requirements for a global infrastructure centralisation program.

The organisation is heavily federated from a technology standpoint and are at the very beginning of an enterprise transformation program to centralise their IT organisation.

This is a pivotal role to assess the current maturity level of security within infrastructure services and come up with a multi-year architecutural design spanning IPS/IDS, SIEM, Vulnerability Management, Antivirus, patch management, firewall rules etc in a defence in depth central strategy.

The role is reporting to the Head of Infrastructure services and will have complete design authority for security within the global infrastructure environment.

You will work closely with the infrastructure applications project delivery team to provide high level design details to be engineered through to "go live" when duties will be handed into the operations environment.

The successful applicant will have a minimum of 3 years architectural design experience around security solutions and will have grown up through hands on network/infrastructure engineering roles within a corporate environment (preferably pan European/global).

You will have experience managing third parties as the organisation operates with significant outsourced IT agreements. The ability to articulate security designs and oversee accurate delivery to specification is essential.

This is not just a technically focused role, experience with definition of information security policies and standards within infrastructure is desirable.
