Job Description

Montash have been engaged by a leading financial organisation based in the UK who is seeking an Infrastructure Solution Architect for their Infrastructure & Design practise. The department is rapidly expanding requiring Infrastructure Architecture Solutions to be delivered in a large change portfolio, Experience within the financial sector is an advantage but not essential.

Desired skills and Experience

Analytical and Technical skills are a must with a firm grasp of wider architectural thinking and governance.

Infrastructure Architecture design and the delivery of technical solutions over multiple platforms

Experience dealing with system integrators and outsource partners

The ability to understand and work towards the core systems and strategic goals

Strong technical expertise in two or more of the following areas; Security, Virtualisation, Application Hosting, Systems Management

The role

Accountable for defining Architectural Solution Outlines for major infrastructure projects and programs.

You will be acting as the design authority ensuring all infrastructure solutions are aligned with approved architectural standards and meet the current and future needs of the business

Keep up to date with industry specific developments, managing Architectural risks, assumptions issues and dependencies to minimise impacts to the integrity of the solution.

Working alongside Business and other Architects to deliver the agreed strategic goals

Act as an Infrastructure and Design practise lead for numerous projects
