Infrastructure Solution Architect required. An Infrastructure Solution Architect is required by one of Montash's clients, who are a leader in the utilities industry, on a six months contract in Reading.
The Infrastructure Solution Architect will work with technology teams to design and communicate architectures and high-level structures to enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions that meet current and future business needs.
The Infrastructure Solution Architect will ensure that business requirements for changes to service are met and provide comprehensive guidance on the development of solution components. The Infrastructure Solution Architect will assist in the development of systems architectures, ensuring consistency with specified requirements agreed with external and internal customers.
The Infrastructure Solution Architect will follow and assist in the development of the organisation's technical strategies, policies, standards and practices, ensuring that they are applied correctly. The Infrastructure Solution Architect will advise on system development methods and tools, including the technical aspects of configuration management methods, system security requirements (confidentiality, integrity and availability), the operational and maintenance aspects of systems under development, and proposed system recovery procedures.
The Infrastructure Solution Architect will advise on appropriate quality standards and quality control processes and monitor technical progress, ensuring that co-ordination and change control are applied. Further to this, the Infrastructure Solution Architect will advise on the impact of changes to the programme and on the process for assessing such impact and informing project management of major technical issues and making recommendations.
