Montash have been engaged by a Global Manufacturing Company based in The Midlands to source an IT Category Manager/IT Vendor manager to develop, implement and embed the full purchasing process including strategy creation and contract management wihtin IT Professional Services.
The role sits within Non Production Purchasing Department and the IT Purchasing team.
The three main skills required;
1. Procurement Experience including experience of procuring professional services and applications (software)
2. Procuring IT
3. Preferable experience of managing sourcing of an IT MSP
- Management of the complete IT Professional Services Category supporting business and IT funded projects including: Development services, systems integration, penetration testing services and integration services
-Lead the development of category strategy with focus on both sourcing and strategic supplier relationship management
-Lead the end to end sourcing processes for thr IT Professional Services Category ensuring Purchasing strategy and process is followed.
-Liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop sourcing strategies
-Develop and establish a pipeline of sourcing activities in line with contract expiry dates, potential cost saving opportunities and new investment projects
-Develop and manage ongoing relationships with key stakeholders
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation through supplier relationship management with strategic suppliers
-Ability to translate business needs and requirements into developing and negotiating appropriate commercial models and contract terms.
