Job Description

A great opportunity for an experienced network engineer to be part of an infrastructure transformation with a global brand. This enterprise is investing heavily in their Infrastructure and as such it is a great time to join their team.

Job purpose - IT Infrastructure Engineer The Infrastructure and Networking Engineer will be responsible for the support of the IT infrastructure including Windows servers, Linux servers, Azure and HP blade chassis; whilst managing expansion and upgrade plans. Involving providing effective problem resolution on other areas.

Key responsibilities

  • To act as a technical design authority to design, review and approve all changes involving the AML network
  • Monitoring the network related environment and IT security controls
  • Technical project lead
  • Managing the legacy telephony systems
  • Manage and maintain wireless networks
  • Implement, manage and maintain IT security systems and Palo alto firewalls
  • Provide daily BAU support
  • Maintain dependent services including DNS, DHCP, RADIUS
  • Managing the HP blade infrastructure
  • Manage and maintain the windows Hyper-V environment, Windows and Linux guest hosts, Unix hosts, the Azure based hosts and the local and Azure active directory

Qualifications & experience

  • Bachelor degree/ ore relevant experience
  • Juniper JNCIA/JNCIS
  • CISO CCNA/CCNE
  • Large campus and multi-site experience
  • Palto Alto technologies CNSE
  • Advanced experience with WAN, WLAN and LAN in a large environment

  • Advanced experience in SunOS and Solaris UNIX operating systems
  • Checkpoint CCSA
  • Microsoft MCSA/ MCSE
  • ITIL foundation/ intermediate
