Java Web Developer - Investment banking - ASAP - Long term contract - £400 - £450

My client is a leading investment bank in need of a talented mid level Java developers with experience in building/upgrading web based applications and ideally 3rd party vendor tools such as "Algo".

Java Web Developer - Investment Banking - Qualifications
  • Very strong experience in building web based application with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.Good understanding of relational database concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle & Sybase
  • Solid understanding of programming principles, such as inter-process communications in the distributed environment; understanding time and space complexity of different collections and algorithms.
  • Practical knowledge of production considerations, such as version control, code libraries, source control systems, documentation, code reviews, automation testing tools and methodology, and software release management.
  • Understanding of Web Applications development principles
  • Familiarity with different test automation techniques and experience with automation frameworks

Java Web Developer - Investment Banking - Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge on Investment Banking web based applications is a plus.
  • Sun Java Certification is a plus
