My client is a leading UK and International insurer who are seeking a highly skilled Modelling Manager to join its database marketing team. You will lead the development of a statistical modelling programme across a diverse group organisation overseeing a campaign team of analysts with the task of transforming them into a data analytics team. This is an exciting time to join a company which is undergoing a wholesale IT transformation with data being the key driver for success.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of customer segmentation and propensity modelling data initiatives
  • Develop new information and add value and insight
  • Align statistical modelling programme to company objectives, wider strategy
  • Managing relationships with key stakeholders in the marketing domain and wider business
  • Manage 3rd party relationships
  • Leadership of analysis campaigns and reviewing against agreed metrics
  • Chair of monthly analytics meetings to demonstrate work to wider business

Key Skills:

  • Extensive SAS expertise
  • Over 3 years of experience in direct or database marketing environment
  • Over 3 years of experience in statistical modelling domain.
  • Advanced abilities with Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access etc.)
  • Strong SQL expertise
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, ability to liaise with all levels of stakeholders
  • Leadership ability and mentoring
  • Previous knowledge of a CRM tool
  • Experience utilising Campaign Management tools
