Job Description

Node.js Developer / IMMEDIATE REQUIREMENT / London / £400-£500 per day

Immediate requirement for a Node.Js Developer to work for within a Global FTSE 100 organisation based in Central London for initially 6 months.

You will collaborate with product owners and colleagues in the mobile application delivery team, and continue to optimise performance post release. This will include integrating their mobile API backends to different data sources in Middleware and outside. You will also provide new APIs fast while doing integration's in the background.

What we are looking for:

  • Solid proven experience with JavaScript / Node.js
  • Experience with Strongloop or ExpressJS framework
  • Strong understanding of API development (authentication, transformation, etc.)
  • Experience with API optimizations for mobile apps (JSON, etc.)
  • Experience deploying JS apps in production
  • Experience using continuous integration and deployment (Go Server, Jenkins)
  • Experience with any of the JavaScript coding frameworks such as AngularJS, BackboneJS, Batman.js, Knockout, Ember, etc…
