Job Description

Online Surveyor

Montash are currently in partnership with a client for an Online Surveyor for a project in the Gulf of Mexico. This project will consist of 28 day rotations.

The right to work in the US is essential and is a basic requirement for all offshore personnel on-board vessels in US waters. This requires either a US visa or a US residence.

The Online Surveyor will be responsible for the management and supervision of the full online spread of survey sensors, equipment, and on line survey software on offshore projects. They will be managing the acquisition of real-time data from numerous sensors, and ensuring the logging and transfer of survey data is in accordance to the project requirement.

All applicants must be confident with all aspects of survey data processing and be able to show a solid understanding of geodesy and the survey methodologies need to perform a wide array of offshore projects.

It is essential that the applicants have experience with either QINSy, or EIVA's Navipac. An Ideal candidate will have experience in both QINSy and Navipac, and may also have experience with Visualsoft (preferable; not essential).
